Something to think about...

I received my second Friends of Mary Foster mailing and to be honest; what can be said of something that says nothing. The flier promised more information on the Democratic platform but give you nothing else. Lots of pictures of the candidates. Alot of blank spaces and some really nice pictures of a clock, but nothing else.

The Democratic platform so far?: To complete the work begun by the Republicans.

The method?: Placing a homeless shelter next to a $45 million office development and voting against and delaying any project that would be good for Peekskill. But only until they get into power. This is dangerous if only because it wastes time and puts off developers that may make a difference. Projects like the Riverbend, Target and the Waterfront Revitalization will make a difference in Peekskill, a big difference.

The Democrats by voting against and delaying these vital projects have shown that they cannot be trusted to finish these projects. These delays hurts us all. Its time to stop playing politics with our future.

We're Back!!!

Why do the Dems hate this blog so much? The truth is that it speaks to their shortcomings. Why was I able to grab a domain name with their candidate's organization name months after they announced her candidacy? I don't know, but it shows a certain lack of foresight on their part.

Why are they upset about a blog that simply from its inception only comments on things that Mary says? The answer is simple: They wish she hadn't said them. They wish she wouldn't have said that Target does not provide the 'type' of jobs Peekskill needs, they wish she hadn't said that the homeless shelter should be put 29 feet from a $45 million office development. They wish she hadn't said those things and they hope no one would remind them. But here I am.

All of the Lohud posts with their miserable spelling, grammatical errors as well as humorless blogs, speak to a seriously miserable group of people. I like writing this blog. It's mine and I'm not getting paid to do it. I don't receive orders and it's a tribute to my friend: Mary Foster. Its meant to be read by people with a sense of humor. If at any point you have a problem with what's written and you think it's libelous, please e-mail me. And I promise that I will look into it.
